Privacy policy
Last updated: 15 October 2026.
This policy explains what personal data we collect through the 7soft.ro website, why we use it, how long we keep it, on what legal basis, and what rights you have. It applies to visitors and to anyone who contacts us through the form or by email.
Who the controller is
The controller of your personal data is 7soft, which operates the 7soft.ro website. For any question about the processing of personal data you can write to the contact address shown at the end of this page.
What data we collect
We collect only the data we need to answer your enquiry. We do not ask for additional data and we do not collect special category data.
- The details you give us in the contact form: name, email address, phone number and the content of your message.
- The page and industry section you sent the form from, through a hidden field, so we know which service you are interested in.
- Your confirmation that you have read this policy, together with the date and time the form was submitted.
- Technical data strictly required for the site to run and stay secure: IP address, browser type and pages accessed, in server logs.
Providing the data is voluntary, but without your name, email and message we cannot answer your enquiry.
Cookies and traffic measurement
We do not use tracking cookies, we do not run traffic analytics tools and we do not show advertising, so we do not ask you for cookie consent.
The site may set a single strictly necessary cookie, NEXT_LOCALE, which remembers your chosen language (Romanian or English) and expires when you close the browser.
What we use the data for
- To answer your enquiry and prepare a concrete offer or proposal.
- To send you an automatic confirmation email at the address you gave, with a copy of your message.
- To stay in touch with you during commercial discussions.
- To protect the site against spam and abusive use.
We do not make automated decisions or carry out profiling based on your data.
Legal basis
Processing relies on the following grounds set out in Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR):
- Steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b)), to answer the form and prepare an offer.
- Our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)), for site security and protection against abuse.
- Compliance with legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c)), for financial and accounting records, if a contract is concluded.
We do not send you marketing communications without your separate consent, given through a clear action.
How long we keep the data
- Enquiries that do not lead to a contract: up to 12 months from the last contact, after which we delete them.
- Data from concluded contracts and invoicing documents: 10 years, as required by Romanian tax and accounting law.
- Server technical logs: up to 30 days.
When the retention period ends, we delete or anonymise the data, unless we have a legal obligation to keep it longer.
Who we share the data with
We do not sell or rent your data. We use it solely for the purposes described above. The data may be processed by the following providers, as processors, under a contract and only on our instructions:
- Our email hosting provider (c-f.ro, Romania), through which we receive form messages and send the confirmation email.
- The hosting infrastructure of the site, on servers located in the European Union.
- Cloudflare, Inc. (USA), for DNS and for delivering and protecting traffic to the site. The transfer relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
If you message us on WhatsApp, your data is also processed by Meta Platforms, as a separate controller, under its own privacy policy.
Your rights
In relation to your personal data, you have the following rights:
- The right of access: to find out what data we process about you.
- The right to rectification: to have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected.
- The right to erasure, also known as the “right to be forgotten”.
- The right to restrict processing.
- The right to data portability.
- The right to object to processing based on our legitimate interest.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the way we process data or the legal requirements change. The version in force is the one published on this page, with the update date shown above.
